Oh man, it's tough not getting a definitive answer! I hope one of the teeth he removed was the issue and once she's healed she'll happily be back to chomping on her food.

I wish I knew what was going on with all our dogs and their mouth problems lately. I am off to the vet this morning with Lacey, who has not been able to chew since Friday. She won't even take soft cookies, and when I touched her muzzle, she yelped. She just had a full exam last Tuesday with bloodwork, and she is in early kidney stage disease but that wouldn't affect her mouth.
I know she needs a dental, but those are booking months out at my vet's, so I hope they can do something sooner. Plus dentals, which used to be reasonable, are four figures these days. Between three doggie surgeries and a dental in the last two months and now this, my credit card is smoking. Still we do what we have to for our pups, and if I still have checks I must have money, right?
Please send some good thoughts our way for Lacey.....
