Trini I'm sorry as I'm just now reading this. Super happy to hear there has been some progress with the ice cream, and I hope it continues. Pet him gently for me!

Poor Dante. I'm so sorry Dante is going through this, but I'm glad you caught it early. I hope the little guy feels better soon!
 
Poor baby! Lucky he has a sweet big brother and loving parents to help him through this. Sending your little boy love and hugs!
 
Great idea on the ice cream! I'm glad he's feeling a bit better, the decrease in yelping should be a good signal. Sending good thoughts his way.
 
Take good care of your brother Dakota. I have a Pom buddy also that I race with that looks a bit like Dante. So I know he must be as cool as my buddy.

Sca, although I do take very loving care of my brother, Dante, to share my portion of food would push me into the realm of martyrdom. After all I am a sheltie and shelties live for FOOD...and I know that Dante would never want to see me suffer. So, I don't think I had better offer to share. :no:

Randi, Cass and Jomuir....thanks for the continued good thoughts for little Dante.

This afternoon he barked for the first time since this whole medical issue erupted...he is normally one of my most talented barkers (beats our shelties at producing noise!), but he had been totally silent except for pain cries for the past 4 days. Never thought I would actually celebrate his barking!!!! :lol:

Trini, so glad to hear that Dante is getting better. Praying he doesn't need another surgery and everything heals well on its own.
