Piper news?

This is wonderful news. My stomachs been in a knot all day about this. Fillion is tired of his nose getting kissed every five seconds when I think about losing your dog to someone like that! (Koko loves it LOL)
 
I really never believed this day would happen. So very glad to have been wrong. I know one little dog that is going to be getting a world full of loving tonight!
 
I'm glad that Piper is home...but now that she is I can't help but think how confused she must be. Multiple homes in a short amount of time. Despite all of this, I hope she knows she is loved.
 
Now that Piper is safely home, I sure as heck hope that Veronica is going to go after that woman for her legal expenses and for her time that was wasted. That crazy wacko deserved a big fat expensive reality check.
 
I just pray that the appeal filed yesterday is denied and that Veronica and Piper can rest easy. Until the final court appeal, etc, is done, there is always worry for Veronica.

Just so glad she is home.
 
LOVE that second picture where Piper is looking at Veronica with a huge Sheltie Smile on her face. The happy dog just pours out of that picture.

and please SOMEONE close down her shelter....she is NOT qualified to be in charge of a safety pin!!!!!!!! Even if Penny didn't like the breeder or owner, it isn't her PLACE to decide not to RETURN a dog to an owner who has identification, period. You don't rehome or try to rehome a dog that is trying to be reclaimed. I don't get why Bell even took her case, and the judge did what was right...it was about getting Piper back to the owner. It NEVER should have become this huge, or take this long. But the lesson is...take EVERY precaution to make sure everything is in order to be able to RETRIEVE your dog in the event it gets loose. And shouldn't there be a push for universal registration of microchip info, and something on that registration that requires updates annually to be sure the info on record is the current info...
