Yes, I think that is what happened!
He has been on Benadryl for 2 days now. one 25mg tablet once a day.
I saw the video on how she diluted it. I might try a super diluted bit on a Q-tip.

Poor guy seems miserable. I feel so bad for him!

I have an appointment scheduled for 11:30 on Monday with the vet. At least I have everything to make him comfortable over the weekend!

Gloria, my vet recommended children's eye drops (the antihistamine kind) for Flurry's eyes when she had red eyes from allergies. Just in case you want to add something else to your arsenal.....give Liam a pat for me!
 
Thanks for the additional tip Ann! I know you have been through the mill with poor Flurry until you got to the bottom of her skin issues.
I will run-up to the drug store tomorrow to pick some up.
I just don't want it to get worse... waiting till Monday I want to do all I can to make him comfortable.

Should I just keep to one 25mg Benadryl pill a day? If yes, should I break it in half and give 2x a day if that would help to manage it until Monday?

He just got his foot bath with diluted Povidone-iodine. So far no biting at his feet. I did use a Q-Tip to dab a bit on his snout.
Fingers crossed we can overcome this. Hopefully, we caught it in time.

I told the vet I wanted documentation to take to the beginner's obedience class to prove he is not contagious and it is just an allergy.
Neither Beau or Baron have been effected. Don't want the training facility to think I am not a responsible dog owner...
 
Hopefully the Povidone-iodine solution will help him feel more comfortable. If it is an infection the Benadryl probably won't do anything for him except make him sleepy. One thing I'd do after the foot bath is dry it really good (I'd use a dryer on it), bacteria thrives in damp, moist warm areas.

Good idea about the dryer Lisa!
Especially since in between his toes will be moist! He is going to get his treatment this morning so the dryer will be there!!!
