Thank you all for all the suggestions, as I will try anything that I can.
Shilo is 11 years old. Over the weekend, her appetite stayed the same, small amounts of baby food. Although, she went outside and "played "a bit and laid on the porch (which she loves). She is drinking and peeing okay. The last BM she had wasn't completely solid, but not like water either. Last night she begged for some food that I had(deli chicken breast) and when I gave it to her, she ate like crazy. Later that night though, she had vomited.
The vet had already given me IV fluids for her, which I give to her, some vitamins and kidney pills. The pills are supposed to be given with food-which she hasn't been getting since she won't eat! Ugh...and now she is "shaking" when I try to give her food
To answer the one question about the diagnosis- my vet took blood tests and showed me the results and told me that it is kidney disease. She said that when the numbers show up elevated like they were, then it means there is at least 75% damage already.
The vet also put her on a special diet- but she won't touch any of it. I think I will try the chicken broth tonight along with small amounts of chicken and hopefully she will get some energy back. Thank you all again
