Well Rupert will be three months old tomorrow!
He has had some fun times the last few days now that his vaccinations are all up to date. Sunday was his first day out. I brought him to my dads grave first (bit silly - but my dad loved dogs - so.... ) then went to my mums house and he got to meet dads Scottish/rough collie called prince. He is quite old now so while he did play with him for a bit, prince gave him a nip to get him to calm down after a while. Then onto my friends house where we met his border collie. She is very patient and played well with him. When I tried to show what tricks he can do she got jealous a bit, did all the tricks herself and had the treats!
Next visit was with my other friends Husky. This did not go so well, nothing bad as such, but it was obvious the husky's prey drive was up, so Rupert stayed on my knees. We went for our first walk the next day at a local park and he enjoyed that. It was only for a few minutes cos he is tiny! I have a few photo links here for you all to look at. He is doing well. Potty training going great in the sense that any accident he has is totally our fault, however he still seems to hold it til he gets indoors for the pad. I'm gong to bring a pad with me outdoors and try and get him to use that. We had a small fright on Sunday night when he started coughing and gagging.
He was eating drinking and playing ok so they (the vet) said it could just be from his first day out, being over excited etc. He is fine since. Here are a few pictures!
