Surgery for Checkers

So nice to read that Checkers is back home and doing well

Apparently the gallbladder isn’t really needed and neither humans nor dogs miss it!

Makes you wonder why we have it at all then when it can cause so much trauma and damage!

Thanks, Gloria. I love that picture, can't believe I caught it. So Sheltie!! Checkers is doing great. She's eating well and so far doesn't even need an e-collar which is amazing considering that the incision goes from her chest to her tail. We are waiting on some biopsies the surgeon took so that's a worry but I should have answers next week. Keep a good thought please. She is so special to me.

It just amazes me that they can go through such a severe surgery and be up and eating in a day. I would be in bed!!!!
Prayers and virtual hugs coming your way on positive biopsy results!
I can see why she is so special! What a beautiful face and sweetness to her expression.
