The little @#*!@!**

Our dogs have always been crated, started with the doxies cux I was always worried about back injuries if we were out. Plus, when we got our first, a lady I knew got 2 and both were electrocuted when she was out of the home - chewed on wires - so we crated. We crate our pups still. They go to bed and have crate covers which go down only at night. Deacon will often demand to be put to bed. T

I had a friend who had a doxie that had a back injury and a 11K operation to fix it. One of my current Shelties chewed into wires to a floor fan, while I was sitting in the room not paying attention- all of a sudden she yelped and jumped back and I could see she had been chewing on wires and had finally gotten thru to the insulation.. She was fine but we had to hide as many wires as we could to lamps, fans etc... everything goes in their mouth at least once....

well, this morning he woke me at 4:30. little whining and activity. he had to poop. really had to poop. he played by himself for about an hour, then fell back asleep.
The key is keeping the room dark and me on the couch. I really think his crying jags at night are all about boredom and loneliness.

not 'because he loves you'. I can't believe some people.....he's 4 months old. I'm a big dog toy who feeds him!
