Throwing up

Bentley is home.

He is on an array of medicines, and seems to feel not so great...but don't worry, he is still managing to look annoyed that he is confined to an x-pen

(Also, the vet did not allow payment plans. Does that seem weird? Ramen noodles for us!)

Sorry he is feeling puny but he is home and maybe a good nights rest in his own home he will feel better tomorrow. Our vets office does not do payment either- I guess they have gotten stiffed to many times but is does make it difficult.

Too bad about the ex-pen, Bentley ... And you might have concocted a less serious reason to find a new vet, buddy !

Glad you are home, though, and sending best wishes.

YAY!! Bentley is home! .. No more crazy treats for you Bentley!!

I expect him to be back to his normal self in a few days ;-)..

Great news!

Cute + Gross pictures

Alright, here's a picture of Bentley looking super pathetic...poor baby!

And a picture of about 1/4 of the crap that they pulled out of his stomach. Beware of clicking on the second picture, if you're squeamish, it will gross you out. It's definitely leather...but it's thick. I'm wondering if the antique box was made/processed differently, and that's why it got so big and thick when it got wet? Who knows. It looks like the thickness of a thick leather leash, but it's wider and there are more pieces.

I'm sorry about everything you went through with poor Bentley. I'm glad the vet was able to successfully remove all that leather from his tummy. I bet he is glad to be home and surrounded by familiar things and those who love him, and I wish him a very speedy recovery! :smile2:

That is an insane amount of leather if that is only a 1/4 of it. I have a cocker patient eat a leather shoe, nothing was left but the sole and he didn't have that much in him.

Poor Bentley, feel better soon.

Well my he looks so out of it. I can imagine how hard it is to see him like this. But I am sure in a couple of days,he will begin to feel better. I'm sending positive healing thoughts for him.

Hugs to all Ashley.I am betting Lexi is so glad her side kick is home.
