Yes, I told her to keep me posted on how he is doing. Maybe over the holidays I will go and visit him with my two and bring him a Christmas treat or two. I had her take the pillow he was sleeping on. He seemed to really like it. It was my first sheltie Dorian's favourite bed to sleep on. Chinook loved it too, but I thought he needed it more than Chinook does - Chinook and Maia have many beds including mine to choose from. Thank you again and please pray that he finds a foster home or a forever home.
*sniffles* about the dog bed, and the circles life gives us!?
You have nothing to feel bad over, and I cannot tell you how much I commend you on staying strong and not letting the pups meet just yet! You got him out of the cold, you got him shelter, you got him food and water and walks! You found him a non kill rescue organization! The thing that is sad is your feeling you didn't do enough! You did great, seriously, including giving the Collie some much needed love helping to guide him to a new home AND Dorian's favourite dogbed! If that is not a happy ending I don't know what is!!!
What a roller coaster event, eh? (Insert Maritime Canadian accent here...)
