WHY?

OMG, that sneaky little ratbag! At least you got to the bottom of it.

I've caught Tully leaning over the litter box eyeing off the cat poop. But my litter containers have really high sides (one of my cats stands to pee) and Tully is only little. My sister puts her litter box in a bigger cardboard box, cuts a hole in the cardboard box so the cats can get in but a dog can't. She's got an older cat who doesn't jump into high sides. Works most of the time although occasionally her Goldie will chew the box - but after eating the box doesn't bother with the poop.

I was worried about the ingestion of litter too since I use clumping litter!
 
Oh isn't that always the way, Gloria? Once you've spent at least three figures on them, they improve and you figure out the reason! :rolleyes2: I'm so glad to hear he's feeling better and it sure sounds like you isolated the problem.Good for you!
 
How fun to watch! Around and around the chairs, mine do that too. Beau's coat is something to behold! Do you do all that grooming yourself? Eli is supposed to get an enormous coat too and I'm kinda dreading the upkeep, LOL. Really happy to see Beau is back on his game!
 
I normally do. However, his last grooming was done by my mobile groomer.

His coat got huge in the past month! I got most of his undercoat out this summer. It’s coming back with a vengeance! Wonder if that means the winter will be bad!
