Bad news about Hadley from Austin

It's hard to get them because they move so much but I just put a measuring cup on the scale, it's a food scale, measured that and then added them each to it subtracting for the cup. The biggest one is 1.3lbs and the smallest is 1lb. Is this about normal?

I agree with everyone else and especially that Hadley is so very lucky to now have a loving home and that her puppies will go to a loving home. I am sorry that the lady treated her so poorly.

Awwww, so ittle bittle!! I am SO glad you came here so we can all "meet" and get to know them. You will receive excellent advice here..

What a frusterating situation! Least Hadley and the puppies are in good hands now.

You could find out what mix the puppies are if you really wanted to. They have those dog DNA tests that aren't very expensive. Most vets do them now. I've also seen it at PetCo, and you can find them online. Just a thought!

Those are actually rather hefty babies... they were born Sunday night, correct? Birthweights are usually 5-8oz, but we don't know who the sire is, so that could throw things off. They look round and pink in the pictures, so that's good. The important thing is to compare their weights across time, so you can tell if they're gaining steadily.

Aww, so cute.

Maybe one of the breeders can correct me if I'm wrong, but some of them look like the could be Sable Merles.
