Dog Wheelchair

So the dog cam is up and working. Apparently Gavin sleeps in my bedroom during the morning, then moves to the living room at 11:30 or so (I have motion alerts I can set). He is currently napping in his chair. There have been a lot of breakins recently in my town, maybe I need to get an SD card and save footage.

First day of dog cam....I feel soo guilty. At about 5, Gavin went back to the couch and waited for me. He didn't lay down and sleep, just kinda hung out. his head would turn to look towards the garage at any noise (like me coming home). By the time I got home (7), he was asleep.

Cool that you can see him though! I don't think they have concepts of time like we do - you could be gone for a minute, or an hour or a few hours and he would probably react the same way to you. So sweet that he waits for you - he loves you!!!!

Gavin hasn't been hacking as much this week. I can only think he is doing better because we are walking more or using the chair less. The chair harness doesn't hit his throat, but I suppose it could irritate a collapsing trachea since it sits across his chest?
My moms last dog had a weak trachea, we found that elevating her food and water bowls helped to alleviate the cough.
