people who don't work and don't have family responsibilities are the ones who are terribly inconvenienced by anything that disrupts their routine of nothing......................A friend's SIL (who recently lost her dog) asked about Gavin as they have met.
When she was told he uses a wheelchair now, she said she would put a dog down before putting them in a wheelchair I was indignant.
Even though she probably think Gavin is in a wheelchair all the time and not just for the limited beach trips, it is upsetting.
You should see all the happy dogs in chairs on the facebook group I am in for dogs in wheelchairs.
For some people, it just doesn't occur to them that dogs are worth the inconvenience of disabilities. Dogs lives already revolve around us as it is.
I should mention, this person does not work and has no kids, so any inconvenience would not add stress to an already full and busy day.
Gavin has survived his vomiting incidents and is back on his couch
