Steven, Harper Lee and I are going to Wildwood, the beach that he so loved, to scatter his ashes along with those of O'keeffe our little blue merle girl, and Tobey our little tri boy.

Harper Lee who so antagonized her brother is feeling his loss so acutely. Last night, I laid his collar on the bed that he shared with all of us and she licked his collar and gently lifted it to lay by her side. I was stunned and quiet as she lay down to sleep beside his collar.

Kate what a beautiful idea to go to the beach. Our Maggie morned Katie for 2 weeks and they had their antogonistic days. So sweet of an idea to put the collar by Harper Lee. Bless all of you during these difficult days.
