Kip hurt his toe!!!

Is Finnie’s hock completely healed now? How did that brace work out for him?
He seems 100% now. We used the brace occasionally but I got the brace right before all this Covid started so besides using it for walks we were pretty much locked down so no obedience classes to use it with. It did help while we used it but if we were just at home I didn't use it. Funny thing, last week he was jumping through the sprinkler and he suddenly lifted his left hind leg, same as when it was his right hock. Thing is when he first hurt his leg and before we knew it was his hock he would occasionally lift his hind left leg..(.that's what made it so confusing in trying to figure out initially) so when he lifted it last week I got worried but he was fine afterwards and since.

I was able to move Kip’s appointment up to tomorrow, because there was a cancellation. Kip’s toe is slightly swollen, so I didn’t want to wait. It’s hard to tell if he’s actually limping, because he still sometimes favors his right paw, the one he skinned.

Kip’s toe is sprained but not broken. So not great but could be worse. He gets more rest, anti inflammatory meds. The vet said it should heal fine. He only has one good foot left. What is he going to do to it?

Good grief poor Kip. But a much better diagnosis than it could have been. His feet have been getting injured a lot! He's probably a really go for it kinda guy. At his age he should heal up fast and be back on 4 good feet soon! Give him a pat for me. What a sweet photo that is.
