Wow, really scary. It looks more like an infection. I've not seen monocyte levels like that with primary pancreatitis.
Did they do a Snap CPL? The blood test is usually serum lipase, you need to test pancreatic lipase to determine pancreatitis. Snap CPL is a basic negative or positive and can be done at the vet, the more detailed serum CPL has to be sent away to labs so could take longer.
I don't know what test they actually did at the ER- I thought infection too with those numbers....
they did not run that test again- they just checked the pancreas numbers essentially.
The IV and whatever they gave him do seem to have brought those numbers down...
