Not again!

Monty has been back to the vet today. He had to stay in for more scans to make sure everything is ok after hitting his head so hard. It still didn't highlight anything serious so thankfully he's all clear.
They've checked his teeth (or lack of them :rolleyes2:) and jaw and everything except a small section is starting to heal. They've had to put a few more stitches in that one area to help with the healing which means he can't carry Mr Broccoli for another 48hrs. Everything is looking good though for a big Thursday reunion, I'm thinking a few candles, a little incense, maybe some slow music for the two of them......actually I better not, with Montys luck he'll probably set himself alight with the candles :rolleyes2: The hardest part of it all has been keeping the two of them apart, it really has broke his little heart, I even sat for a while and explained to him why he couldn't have Mr Broccoli.....I think he only understood the sit part at the start

Thank you so much everyone for all the help, advice and support :hugs

We will all tune in for Monty and Mr. B. Reunion on the BBC. :ROFLMAO:

Thankfully except for a few more stitches and a tough next 48 hours it sounds like "our" Monty is on the mend without any serious complications. Tell Monty we will all be watching and he had better not get into any more trouble!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have all just made me really LOL at these posts :ROFLMAO:.
I'm not taking any chances with the reunion and he is being carried everywhere when I have to move around at home, can't be having any set-backs :hide

Its has been a tough week for us and Monty and I can't thank you enough for everything :hugs.
I look forward to hopefully managing to capture the perfect reunuion tomorrow....I'm actually excited now . Monty is 10 times harder to manage without Mr Broccoli, I really need to start paying him a carer's allowance :ROFLMAO:

Your going to get a sore arm Darren, I speak from experience with Princess Blueberry. Fortunately she’s all on leash and I only pick her up now if I have to but it gets tiring after awhile. I suggest you alternate arms lol. I can understand your wanting to keep a close eye on him...he’s an accident waiting to happen. My mom calls Piper Mr Accident...your welcome to use the name, Monty is wayyyyyyyyy more accident prone than Piper!
I look forward to checking in tomorrow and reading about the REUNION!

Mr Accident :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:. When carrying him the main problem at the minute is he keeps licking my ears lol. My arm gets tired because I have to hold him away from my body or he keeps stretching up so he can just lick my ear the whole time

That carrier looks great , I've had a look on Amazon and found this one below reduced, with a pouch and in Mr Broccoli colors. It says it can hold up to 8kg so it should easily support Monty (he weighed 5.1kg at the vets this week). I'll have to try and get it this weekend . If anyone see's me walking around the home doing my chores with Monty in a backpack they'll think he finally made me lose my mind :ROFLMAO:.

8hrs to go and then I officially have the green light to let Monty loose on Mr Broccoli :biggrin2:.
