I’m glad to hear the breeder has done the right thing. Praying for a positive outcome for Fainly.

Hi again, everyone. I'm writing to say I finally understand just what our puppy's problem is. It helped me to see the orthopedic doc's actual report, and I thought I'd share his findings with you. He has a bilateral angular limb deformity starting at the level of the distal tibial growth plate. This is caused by him having a very abnormal growth plate, with each leg having one side of the growth plate which has apparently stopped growing while the other side has widened. The cause for this abnormal pattern is not known at this time. And of course he was diagnosed with IBS and given a lot of different medications, so that may play a part or not; don't know that yet. I thought you might like an update because I wasn't very clear about why his tibias were growing at an angle, and now I understand. Thank you again for your kind and helpful replies to our situation. We believe we have a top-notch orthopedist; orthopedics is the focus of this entire practice, so we think we are in good hands.I agree with Margi , and I will continue to say a prayer for both you and Fainly
It does sound like you have the best possible medical support for Fainly and I hope with all my heart that something can be done so your precious boy can go on to have a pain free life.I thought you might like an update because I wasn't very clear about why his tibias were growing at an angle, and now I understand.
