Brooke - not good news

How was her walk? Princess Brooke in her throne :)

She loved it. I let her out along the creek to wander and sniff and potty, then back in the stroller. We had a nice walk, she looked around a lot and sniffed. People smiled at her. And when she met the one dog she can't stand, an obnoxious min pin type terrier, she regally turned her head away as if to say "I'm above it all!" Made me really laugh because she and Zoe can't stand each other. (Zoe started the feud.)

Isn't that funny. Tully had a mortal enemy too that was a little terrier thing. Gosh they were funny the way they carried on.

Yesterday was a good day! Some pep in her step. I think the stroller outing really got her perked up. She is loving her canned food and I am able to mix some kibble back in which is good. I really think she was getting an upset acid tummy since the vomiting was before her meals. So the ranitidine is seeming to help. She is on Zofran for nausea as well, I think I will dial that back to once a day. The sad thing is seeing her pink tummy where they shaved her for the ultrasound. They left all the long side hair (thank God!) so when she's standing you can't tell but when she's laying down you see it. Hopefully the hair will grow back in a bit.

We will celebrate Eli's birthday with carrot cake later today and she will love that. Her gums are nice and pink today so no bleeding right now. :fl

Wonderful news, Sharon! Hoping for many more good days. They are certainly something to be enjoyed and celebrated.

I know what you mean about the pink tummy. They shaved Checkers' whole tummy for her pre-surgical ultrasound too. Plus they shaved all of her front leg where the tumor was, and all the way up one side for the skin graft! The poor thing looks like a patchwork quilt. :eek2: But it's just over a month and growing back, so hang in there.

She is her regal self! Would have loved to see a video of that encounter! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
