Now you've done it. I'm going to be hearing that song in my head for the next couple of days coupled with pictures of a naked woman in a bathtub with shelties and bubbles.

So in desperation, I finally bathed the dogs myself today (normally, I leave it to a groomer!). Believe it or not, I actually enjoyed it. I have a deep tub with a spray nozzle. I got in the tub with Dog #1 (naked....yeah there's a visual). Soaped and rinsed. Threw a towel over and tossed him outside to dry. Then on to dog No. 2. Same drill. Had a glass of wine on the deck (yes, I did dress for this) then decided to take the blow dryer to both of them (never did that before) and quick flips with the 35 mm pin brush to help loosen things up.

I think they actually quite liked it! (ok, I'm just going to stick to that story)

I expect to have fur flying within the next day or so! I hope. I don't mind vacuuming it....just want it OFF the dogs once and for all!

Hopefully no more fat Sheltie butts! :lol:

(even though she had her pants removed :eek2:during the groomer mishap ...)
She is still a fat bottomed girl .... I think that's a song too !!! ( we need to produce a " Best of Shelties" Music Mix CD .... :lol:
 
Gee, thanks Chris. Now I can add that horrible ride that I did my grammy duty on at Disney World. It felt like hours of hearing that song over and over and over again.
Well, I got caught this morning. Two students came to the door to do the property assessment. Unlike most mornings where I am dressed by 7 am, I was in my husband's cotton housecoat and only his housecoat, with last night's makeup and uncombed hair. I'm 5'2" and he is 5'10 so keeping said garment done up is a problem. Because we don't expect people to show up at the door - they have 400' from the road to the house - the dogs were milling as I tried to open the door to find out what they wanted while trying to keep the dogs back and the housecoat decent. Glad I wasn't in the tub with a dog but felt just as embarrassed! Poor boy will be scarred for life.
 
He, he, I am getting a visual on all this !! Naked women bathing furry little barky dogs, while fur is flying everywhere and and " It's a small world after all" playing in the background. Women in bathing suits and big ole bathrobes drinking wine and going to the door to let young men in...when folks are askin me what I'm grinnin about today, I'll just smile and give a little giggle...:biggrin2:
