Gavin's Never Ending Dotage (Part 2)

It's 30s/40s.
He seems better this afternoon. he is able to stand on his own, although help getting up is still appreciated. He had a diarrhea moment, so cleanup was of course fun :P
It just really pushes the stress into the stratosphere. I don't want to leave him alone in case he needs me (he'll try and get up and get frustrated when he can't quite do it).

Sending good thoughts that Gavin improves, Cindy. I know how hard it is trying to stay on top of the issues that pop up for our seniors, and it must be really difficult for both of you not being home, as much as he's enjoyed his stay. Praying you see him perk up soon after some rest. :hugs

well, he drank water at 4AM. slept some more. pee'd at 9AM. he crawled back into his bed on his own. ate some yogurt coated kibble. still sleeping.
just supportive care. course, I am not sleeping well. he wakes me up when he tosses and turns when he can't get up on his own. usually a few times a night.
